SALT Solutions AG processes your personal data according to the principles of the European Data Protection Basic Regulation. We collect, process and use personal data provided by you only for the purposes listed, unless you agree upon more extensive consent.

We oblige to collect, process and use as little personal data as possible in accordance with the principle of data economy.

Accordingly, using our website is initially possible without providing personal data.

The collection of any personal data (such as contact forms etc.) takes place on voluntary basis as far as possible.


Collection of general information

When you access our websites (,,,,,, data of  general nature is automatically collected. This data (server log files) contains the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and similar information. This data does not allow any conclusions about your person and is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content you have requested from websites and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous data of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimize our Internet presence and the technology in the background.

We reserve the right to verify this data subsequently in case of any concrete indications of illegal use of the website. This data is deleted after 6 months.

Registration on our website

When registering to apply our personalized services, specific personal data is collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data such as telephone number and e-mail address. Registered users have access to specific content and services only offered to registered users. As registered user you also have the option to change or delete all data provided during the registration at any time. Of course, we will also provide you with information about all saved personal data related to you. We will be happy to correct or delete them at your request, provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary. Commenting function 

If users leave comments in the blog, the time of their creation and the user name previously chosen by the website visitor are stored in addition to this information. This serves our security, since we can be prosecuted for illegal contents on our web page, even if provided by users.

Newsletter & Email Marketing

When registering to receive our newsletter and/or registering in our e-mail distribution list, for example by requesting further documents on our products and services, all provided data will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers or recipients can also be informed by e-mail of circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).

For an effective registration we require a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that the registration is actually done by the owner of an e-mail address, we apply the "double-opt-in" procedure. Therefore we log the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation mail and the receipt of the newsletter.

Further data will not be collected. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

We would like to continuously improve and further develop our news for you according to your interest. That's why we apply personalized tracking in the scope of our email marketing software. We collect the following information:

Data protection concerning WordPress

Our websites,,, are self-hosted but based on Wordpress. To protect these websites from spam, we use the Anti Spam Plugin CleanTalk. Parameters such as certain words, IP addresses, e-mail addresses or domain names are sent to a server in the USA and compared there. If CleanTalk identifies any of the transmitted content as spam, this will be returned to us as a message and the information will be stored in the USA. Google AdWords

Our website applies Google Conversion Tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords places a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced by websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that personally identifies users.
