Post Processing Framework (PPF)
Post Processing Framework (PPF) defines an important SAP-basis technology which functions as a tool in order  to control printing events and to create or trigger certain printouts or postings, such as a goods issue positing.

Ressource Management
The ressource management enables the definition of EWM-resources, resource types, -groups and queues. These resources are mainly required for executing activities in the Radio Frequency (RF) and for the material flow management (EWM MFS).

Radio Frequency (RF)
With the in EWM integratedRadio Frequency RF Radio Frequency Framework, dialogs can easily be adjusted to internal business processes regarding the notification- and verification fields. This is optimally supported by the ITS-Mobile technology.

Hazardous Substances and Dangerous Goods (EH&S)
With the Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) component, hazardous substances and the dangerous goods management is fully integrated into EWM.

Yard-Management (YM)
The Yard-management administrates yards (freight yards) and is significantly more extensive than in SAP LES. In addition to scheduling gates and deployment zones it controls vehicle entrances and exits.

Labor Management (AM)
Due to  increasing operating sizes of warehouses and the rising complexity of logistics processes, efficient planning of resources and staff is increasingly difficult. EWM faces this problematic with its supreme Labor Management component. The Labor Management offers comprehensive functions for the planning and controlling of staff member assignments.
