Replenishment

The picking area is supplied with products according to the selected replenishment type by means of the Replenishment control. Data can derive from open storage requests, a manual entry of a minimum- and maximal quantity as well as from the minimum replenishment quantity. The storage disposition, which calculates the minimal-and the maximal quantity as well as the minimum replenishment quantity based on the storage type- or the fixed bin level, defines a further data source.

The following Replenishment types exist:

• Plan-Replenishment  (including the shortfall of the minimal quantity, calculation according to the minimal-and maximal quantity)
• Order-related Replenishment (including the shortfall of the required quantity, calculation according to the selected, open storage requests)
• Automatical Replenishment (including the shortfall of the minimal quantity at the confirmation of the storage task, calculation according to the maximal-and minimal quantity)
• Direct Replenishment (possible in the fixed bin scenario only; including a bin refusal with an exception code reference  to the internal ‘Replenishment’ process code, calculation according to the maximal-and minimal quantity whereas the storage bin quantity will equal zero).
