Control of Warehouse Processes with SAP Tools

SALT Solutions has optimized the warehouse logistics and introduced advanced mobile communications technology and forklift terminals under SAP LES (Logistics Execution System) for Siegwerk Druckfarben AG.
Siegwerk’s goal was the quality improvement by a secure batch assignment and the tracking of products in the warehouse and the distribution. This was achieved by controlling all warehouse processes via mobile communications terminals and introducing a bar-code system. All goods movements are now captured by a scanner and simultaneously entered into SAP LES. The configuration developed by SALT Solutions depends on the SAP Console, is useable as an upgradeable SAP standard, and allows Siegwerk to easily track products based on Serial Shipping Container Codes (SSCCs) from the production to the customer delivery.
SALT Solutions‘ system also streamlines a complex dialog management in SAP for operational processes.
