Potato Specialist AVIKO takes SAP into the Warehouse

Convenience - easy and comfortable – the main characteristics of modern food. In the past 30 years, frozen foods have experienced a meteoric rise. The Dutch company AVIKO is Europe's second largest producer of potato products, such as French Fries.
In order to control the entire production chain from the cultivation to  the consumption, proper storage and logistics are just as important as the processing of raw products. AVIKO built a new cooling-channel warehouse and contracted SALT Solutions to install the SAP-based warehouse management system (WMS) as material flow computer.
