Central Logistics Management System

The pastry product distribution of the pastry-manufacturer Griesson de Beukelaer is executed by three warehouses which immediately downstream the particular production plants. While the production control and sales processes are handled by the central ERP system, the responsible distribution control is defined by a SALT Solution logistics management system interconnecting the   ERP system and the warehouse management systems. The inventory distribution is coordinated among the three warehouses,  organizing  orders which are assigned to the particular  storage facilities and corresponding delivery routes.

The system ensures a global inventory management and handles the order management, route formation and logistics billing. Interfaces to the ERP and the warehouse management systems were realized. The daily operational load equals 50 delivery tours with approximately 1,200 pallets.
