Furniture Distribution for Neckermann AG

As logistics contractor, Fiege Deutschland GmbH operates the warehousing and distribution of furniture and large goods for Neckermann Versand AG in Germany and neighbouring countries. The Distribution process is executed in two stages: Ordered goods are brought from the central warehouse to approximately 60 distribution bases, from where   the goods and services are delivered to the end users.

In order to cover this organizational logistics system, which processes thousand customer orders per day , SALT Solutions has developed an integrated IT system with a LogBase, which significantly contributes  to the efficiency and the consistent high processing quality of the Fiege Neckermann distribution activity.

 Functional components such as a management system, a freight/handling billing, a shipment tracking and a logistics control system, were installed.
